SR 30 S PROPELLER (R912ULS)
The propeller blades are manufactured of layered ash or beech wood glued by means of twocomponent adhesive CH S Epoxy 1200. The leading edges of blades are manufactured from abrasion resistant material, which contains metallic filler and which is applied to the blade by means of casting. The leading edge is milled off to the depth of 5mm along the outer third of the blade.This section of the blade is replaced with the resin and metallic filler mixture.
Surface protection of the blades consists of 1x epoxy 1200 painting.Protection is carried out in resin bath, where the blade is kept for 5min at bath temperature of 35°C. After drying and fine sanding there follows 2x painting with polyurethane primer U 2000 and 6x painting with polyurethane varnish U 2054.The ends of blades are painted with yellow nitro-email varnish C 6000.
