The core is the heart of the heat exchanger. Laminova’s unique patented design makes it 20% more efficient than its competition. The laminar flow pattern reduces the pressure drops that occur, compared to conventional heat exchangers. The fins of the core are manufactured with a patented production process, and creates a huge cooling area because of the cylindrical design. This laminar flow principle ensures minimal pressure drop and exceptional heat transfer throughout its entire length. The inside of the core has generous coolant passages that are very tolerant to debris and gives negligible pressure drop. The core can be fitted both on the full coolant flow or in a partial flow circuit.

Laminova Guidelines:

• A C43-90 is equivalent to a 10 Row 235mm Row oil cooler, a C43-180 to a 16 Row, and a C43-330 to a 25 Row.
• If the coolant flow rate exceeds 80 l/min, there is typically no need for a restrictor.
• When the coolant flow rate is below 80 l/min, you have the option to use either a plug or a restrictor.
• If you wish to enhance or fine-tune the cooling performance, all coolers can be equipped with a center hole plug to force more coolant through the outside channels. Only one plug is required on the inlet side of the core. You may find available plugs under the "Water Plugs / Turbulators" section.
• It is recommended to install the Laminova on the return hose from the radiator to the engine.
